What needs an account, and what does not
Searching, filtering and exporting are open to anyone. Anything that has to persist or be emailed to you needs a free account.
The line is not arbitrary. Reading the index is open. Anything that has to be stored against you, sent to you, or run live across every board on demand needs an account, and it is free to make one.
Open to anyone
- Searching everything already in the index, in any country.
- Every filter and every sort order.
- Opening a listing and reading the full description.
- Exporting the results you are looking at to CSV.
- The ready-made category pages, and any search link someone sends you.
Needs a free account
- A live search across every board when nothing we already hold matches what you typed. This is the one that surprises people, so it has its own article.
- Saving jobs and the application board.
- Email alerts and follow-up reminders.
- A stored CV, and therefore match scores.
- The AI writing tools.
Every article in this help centre that describes a gated feature carries a marker saying so, so you can tell before you invest any time in it.
Where it stops: An account does not unlock more listings. The index is the same either way, and the 200 category pages already serve it to anyone. What an account adds is a live fan-out on demand, and somewhere to keep your work.
