Your account and syncing
A free account carries your saved jobs, alerts, CVs and recent searches between devices.
Needs a free account
Searching does not need an account. A free one carries your work across devices and enables everything marked as needing one.
- Tracked jobs, alerts, saved CVs and your last 20 searches live in your account.
- Light, dark or Auto from the toggle in the navigation. Auto follows your operating system, and the choice is per device rather than per account, so a phone can be dark while a laptop is light.
- Sign up with an email address and a password. If other sign-in buttons are available they appear on the login page.
- Manage everything from Account: change your email or password, pick a theme, export your data, or delete the account.
The first time you sign in, anything already saved in your browser is merged into your account. Where both have a value for the same job, the account wins.
Recent searches are the one thing that behaves differently when you are signed out: they live in the page only and are gone when you reload. See recent searches.
Where it stops: There is no shared or team account, and no way to hand your board to someone else. Everything is scoped to one person, and the only way to get your data out is the export.

- Exporting your dataSearch results and your application board export to CSV; your whole account exports to one JSON file.
- Deleting your accountAccount, then Delete account, then type your email to confirm. It is immediate, total, and there is no way to undo it.
