Recent searches

Your last 20 searches are kept on your account and rerun in a click. Signed out, they live in the page only and are gone when you reload.

Signed in, your last 20 searches are stored on your account and follow you between devices. Each one shows the result count it returned, and reruns in a click. The account page lists the ten most recent.

Signed out, recent searches exist only in the page you are looking at. Reload or close the tab and they are gone. An earlier version of this documentation said they were kept on the device, which was never true.

If you want a search to survive on purpose, there are two ways that actually work: bookmark the URL, which carries every filter with it, or turn it into an email alert.

Where it stops: Recent searches are a history, not a watchlist. Nothing reruns them for you and nothing tells you when their results change. That is what job alerts are for, and they are the only feature that does it.
