Where your data goes
Plainly, per thing: what is stored, what is encrypted, what leaves the country, and what never leaves your browser.
- Your CV is encrypted at rest in our database. It is sent to Anthropic in the US, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses, only when you use one of the three AI writing tools. The match score never goes anywhere.
- Analytics load only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Decline and no analytics script runs at all.
- Jobs you have opened are recorded in your browser as one-way hashes, never as addresses, and never sent to us. That is so the stored value is not a legible list of the roles you considered. It is not a security measure: anyone with your device could re-derive it.
- Searches are logged for aggregate counts, with the IP address hashed before it is stored.
- We do not sell anything to anyone, and there are no advertising trackers.
The full detail is on Privacy, Cookies and GDPR and data requests. Outputs from the AI tools are advisory, and you can ask for a human to look at any of it via privacy@jobzyl.com.
Where it stops: This page is a summary written to be read. Where it and the legal pages differ in detail, the legal pages are the ones that govern, and they are linked above rather than buried.
