What Jobzyl will not do

The limits worth knowing before they surprise you, so the rest of this documentation can be read at face value.

  • Nothing applies on your behalf, and nothing will. Auto-applying tools measurably do not work and get people filtered out.
  • Nothing reads your email or your calendar. Every stage move after the first is yours.
  • Search titles are English only. A posting in another language is found by its English title if it has one.
  • Coverage is uneven by design. A narrow search in a small market returns less than the same search in the US.
  • Pay is missing more often than it is present, and is effectively absent in several European markets.
  • Closed postings can still appear. We remove the ones that answer as gone, and that catches a lot of it and not all.
  • There is no filter for employment type, because that field arrives empty from every board. Contract and hours are the two axes that carry data.
  • No API yet.
  • No salary negotiation advice, no CV writing service, no recruiter introductions. We index openings and help you organise your own applications.
  • We are not a party to your application. Apply goes to the employer’s own posting, and what happens after that is between you and them.

Where it stops: This list is maintained by hand and is therefore the thing most likely to fall behind. If you find something the documentation does not admit, tell us and it gets written down.
