What is in your results
A read on the whole result set: the skills it asks for, who is hiring, the shape of the roles, and what they pay.
The right-hand pane has two tabs. Job is the posting you picked. Insights is a read on the whole set, and it stays available once you have opened something, which is usually when it is most useful.
- Skills these results ask for: the ones named most often across the set. It also tells you how many listings named any at all, because roughly half do not.
- Who is hiring: employers with more than one opening in this set.
- Shape of these results: how the roles are worked, contract type, hours, and how recently they were posted.
- Pay: the distribution across the listings that state a figure, in the currency most of them use.
Every number is also a filter. The count beside an option is what you will be left with if you click it, with your other filters still applied, so it never promises rows a click cannot deliver.
On a phone there is no side pane, so the same panel sits in a collapsed strip above the first listing.
Where it stops: The counts only appear once a search has settled. While boards are still answering, the totals move on every arrival, and numbers that crawl under the cursor are worse than no numbers. Work mode and contract type count only the listings that stated one, so the parts will not add up to your total.
